What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation FAT/SAT Engineer position at Beacon Engineering Resources?
We are seeking an engineer with exposure to Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing for automated manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:

Conduct FAT prior to shipment and SAT upon installation

Review design specs, testing plans, and validation protocols

Support mechanical, electrical, and software testing

Capture test data and ensure requirements are met before handoff

Assist commissioning and system debug activities
Qualifications:

Previous FAT/SAT experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of PLC logic, controls, and mechanical assemblies

Familiarity with validation documentation
-
Willingness to travel to customer sites
