We are currently seeking an exceptional Sales Manager

Through strategic investments in technology and an ever-expanding network of locations throughout the United States and Canada, we help contractors save time, manage their work more efficiently, and enhance their business.

We are currently seeking a District Sales Manager for the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Eastern Massachusetts. This position will report to the Regional Director of Sales for the New England Region.

Position Description

The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy and managing a team of Outside Sales Representatives throughout the New England North District.

Working hand in hand with the District Manager and Branch Managers in their territory, the primary focus of the Sales Manager will be deploying strategies related to share gain and ensuring that we have the strongest and most professional sales team in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coaches a team of Outside Sales Representatives to drive profitable growth and achievement of monthly / yearly sales and margin budgets.
  • Work with Regional and District leadership to develop sales budgets, pricing strategies and territory design.
  • Communicate effectively with Branch, Regional and Executive Leadership to achieve common goals and drive results.
  • Assist with building strong relationships with key accounts and vendor partners.
  • Coordinate the execution of sales campaigns and product launches.
  • Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain sales teams to ensure organizational capability to deliver sales and service objectives.
  • Leverage business reports to develop strategies, direct work and make good business decisions.
  • Review and optimize the activity levels of the sales team to ensure the proper frequency of customer touch points, coaching, and planning are taking place.
  • Manage the coordination of sales efforts in a way that integrates the local markets with national accounts, call center and Beacon’s omni-channel offering.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
The right individual must display initiative, passion, a strong work ethic and the ability to lead, plan and manage change.
  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of field sales leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading and developing a sales team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to add strategic value at the leadership table
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees
  • Strong ability to work in changing environment, see through complexity
  • Personal integrity and exemplary ethical standards
  • Ability to interpret and administer policies and procedures consistently and objectively
  • Willing to travel up to 60%.

Location
Location flexible to home office or branch locations in the District with a preference towards the North Eastern Massachusetts, Southern Maine area.

Salary : $66,100 - $83,700
