What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Development Manager position at BEACON BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT SERVICES?
Job Title: Practice Development Manager-Tampa
Beacon Behavioral Partners
Field-Based | Geography or Practice-Aligned
About Beacon Behavioral Partners
Beacon Behavioral Partners is a growing network of physician-driven psychiatric practices with over 25 years of management experience within the behavioral health industry. We believe sustained growth comes from strong local relationships, clinical credibility, and disciplined execution. Our referral outreach model is built on trust, consistency, and data-driven decision-making and this role is central to that strategy.
The Role
We are hiring a Practice Development Manager to own and grow referral relationships for one practice or a group of practices within a defined geography (Tampa / St. Pete / Sarasota). This is a highly field-based, individual contributor role focused on driving sustained referral volume through consistent in-person relationship-building, education, and follow-through. Success in this role requires a strong presence in the community, with the majority of time spent meeting referral partners across the assigned geography rather than working from a desk or home office.
This role is goal-based and accountability-driven rather than purely quota-based. Success is measured by the health, consistency, and growth of referral relationships over time. The Practice Development Manager works closely with admissions, clinical leaders, marketing and operations to ensure referral partners experience Beacon as responsive, reliable, and easy to work with.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, values collaboration, and takes pride in building durable partnerships that directly impact patient access to care.
