We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide nutritional services at both our Hammond and Baton Rouge locations. This position plays an essential role in supporting adolescents with eating disorders and other nutritional needs through individualized assessment, treatment planning, education, and therapeutic intervention.

  • Provide individual nutrition counseling focused on recovery, balanced nutrition, meal planning, and the development of a healthy relationship with food.
  • Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate groups focused on nutrition education, body image, disordered eating behaviors, and recovery skills.
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, medical providers, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Participate in treatment-team meetings, case reviews, and discharge-planning discussions.
  • Provide nutrition education and support to clients’ families when included in the treatment plan.
  • Collaborate with food service personnel to support menu planning, meal-plan implementation, dietary accommodations, and nutritional quality.
  • Provide meal support, supervision, and exposure-based interventions when clinically appropriate.
  • Track client outcomes and revise nutrition interventions based on progress and changing clinical needs.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the medical record.
