Qualifications
- Ability to read and write.
- Physical ability to perform a job that requires bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads.
- Support and implement the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Beacon Behavioral Health and its holdings.
- Uphold and embody Beacon Behavioral Health’s 5 Commandments for Exceptional Customer Service.
- Vacuum, mop and dust all areas per established schedule using approved cleaners.
- Clean kitchen and all restrooms per established schedule using approved cleaners.
- Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners.
- Change bed linens as needed, both with patient in bed and with patient out of bed, as required by patient’s ability to ambulate.
- Ability to utilize safe and proper body mechanics in performing job duties.
- Keep patient care areas clean and free of trash as necessary throughout day.
- Stock supplies in kitchen and all restrooms.
- Water plants.
- Clean front doors and windows.
- Empty and clean trash cans daily.
- Use carpet broom daily.
- Pick up litter from parking lot and sweep front entrance daily.
- Rake leaves around building as needed.
- Other duties and special projects as requested.
