Salary Range: $20.00 - $28.90
Salary range updated 2/26/2026. Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: Plainview, NY
Purpose/Objective:
The position is responsible for assisting the with all Eastern Funding LLC delinquent customer accounts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and clear check and automatic debit bounces.
- Notify loan officers and management team of action steps taken by collections representative.
- Be proficient in the Company’s accounting software system.
- Answer all customers billing related inquires.
- Make ACH date and bank changes as required.
- Create check spreadsheet for all incoming checks received by Customer Service.
- Maintain the Eastern Funding used equipment list.
- Maintain the repossession & returns list for all Specialty Vehicles.
- Assist on repossession of equipment which requires visitation to the location for physical removal of assets.
- Make suggestions to management with respect to loan workout.
- Assist in house attorney in preparing default letter and in other legal matters.
- Know and understand the company’s BSA/AML compliance policies, and participate in the company’s ongoing compliance training.
- Do other assignments as directed by CM.
Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 – 4 years of collections experience.
- Strong verbal communications.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve.
- Ability to work independent and understand the need for timely response and proactive measures.
- Ability to work cooperatively with team and other department colleagues.
- Working knowledge of computer software word excel and TValue.
