Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.90
Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: New York City, NY - 213 West 35th St
Purpose/Objective:
The position is responsible for assisting with all Eastern Funding delinquent customer accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
* Monitor and clear check and automatic debit bounces.
* Notify loan officers and management team of action steps taken by collections specialist.
* Be proficient in the Company's accounting software system.
* Answer all customers billing related inquires.
* Make ACH date and bank changes as required.
* Create check spreadsheet for all incoming checks received by Customer Service.
* Maintain the Eastern Funding used equipment list.
* Maintain the repossession & returns list for all Specialty Vehicles.
* Assist on repossession of equipment which requires visitation to the location for physical removal of assets.
* Make suggestions to management with respect to loan workout.
* Assist in house attorney in preparing default letter and in other legal matters.
* Know and understand the company's BSA/AML compliance policies and participate in the company's ongoing compliance training.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
* High school diploma
* Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
* 2-4 years collections experience
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong verbal communications
* Ability to multitask and problem solve
* Ability to work independently and understand the need for timely response and proactive measures
* Ability to work cooperatively with team and other department colleagues
* Working knowledge of Microsoft office
* Working knowledge of Tvalue, preferred
