What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post Frame Builder position at Beachy Contracting LLc?
Beachy Contracting is a Post Frame Building Company that specializes in building high-end, luxury, custom postframe buildings, hobby shops, barndominiums, shop houses, pole barns, agricultural storage facilities, tractor, boat, RV storage buildings, and various other buildings that involve post frame construction. All these buildings are built to engineered plans that are based off of traditional Amish Barn Raising building techniques.(With Modern Technology)
Each post frame builder will be on a 3to 5 person crew. Each crew will be responsible to build the post frames and to install metal siding and roofing. Crews maybe asked to travel, travel beyond 50miles is not mandatory. Pre diem will be paid on out of town jobs.
Jobsites are mostly in rural areas. Our crews are trained to work quickly as experienced post frame builders and crew bosses are paid bonuses on every building. Crews often remark about the satisfaction they feel after completing a building. Customers are typically raving fans of our barn crews. Builders are likely to receive many positive comments from customers.
Ideal candidates would be young, athletic, hard working individuals that love being outdoors and can learn our building system quickly. Raises will be based on work performance. Raises are to be expected every 3 months for the first year. Bonuses for buildings will be paid after the first 12 months.
We work hard at Beachy Contracting, but we also try to play hard as well. Our crews often go on hunting and fishing trips together, winter vacations on the beach, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Work schedule is very flexible, as long as a good work ethic is noticeable. Company vehicle maybe provided if needed.
After 2 Years employment, builders will be eligible for our Crew Boss Program. Crew bosses are started at $30 per hour plus bonuses. After bonuses, crew bosses are expected to make 100k- 150k per year. We will provide all necessary training for this position. A person in this position will need to be able to organize a jobsite, read blueprints, and train new crew members.
