Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic High School Principal to lead our high-performing High School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of school operations, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring academic excellence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and management skills to support both staff and students in achieving their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging school culture.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and student needs.
- Manage school budgets, oversee resource allocation, and ensure financial sustainability through effective budgeting and fundraising efforts.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to improve academic performance and operational efficiency.
- Supervise faculty and staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
- Oversee student discipline, attendance, and overall welfare to foster a positive learning environment.
- Facilitate communication with parents, community stakeholders, and district officials through public speaking engagements and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, clubs, and community service projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in management and leadership roles.
- Prior classroom teaching experience with students at the high school level.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development, strategic planning, and fundraising initiatives.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent public speaking skills for engaging with staff, students, parents, and community members.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and resource management within an educational setting.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds to promote equity and inclusion.
- Master's degree in Administration or related field;
