Overview of Open Position
Beachway New Jersey is seeking therapists to provide clinical support across Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient levels of care.
We welcome applicants with a variety of New Jersey licenses and credentials, including but not limited to: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC, CADC, LSW, and LAC.
Experience with trauma-informed care, EMDR, DBT, CBT, or other evidence-based modalities is a plus. We are also open to training therapists who are close to licensure.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct group and individual therapy
- Facilitate clinical assessments
- Develop action plans to maintain long term recovery goal
- Stay current on training and best practices in the clinical field of Social Work, Mental Health, and/or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Integrate the family system into the recovery process
- Maintain clinical documentation within compliance guidelines
- Collaborate with the treatment team of clinicians, clinical support, and medical providers
- Ensure ethical clinical practices including maintaining confidentiality
Ideal Candidate Criteria
- State of New Jersey licensure such as LCSW or LPC preferred
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field
- LCADC, LSW, and LAC candidates will also be considered
- Experience with trauma-informed care is a plus
- Training in DBT, CBT, family systems, EMDR, motivational interviewing, experiential therapy, relapse prevention, or other evidence-based modalities is preferred
- Two years of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling is preferred
