Operations Manager (Vacation Rental)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the resort. Your duties will include:

- Managing all aspects of the resort, including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Supervising and training staff members to ensure exceptional customer service
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the resort
- Collaborating with various departments to coordinate activities and events
- Monitoring budgets and expenses to ensure financial targets are met
- Implementing effective marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Previous experience in hotel or resort management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
