Beachside Lighting, a local landscape lighting manufacturer based in Kailua, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a full-time Administrative Assistant.
This role supports both our Accounting Department and Production Manager and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys both administrative work and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide backup phone support by assisting with incoming calls when needed
- Greet and assist walk-in customers as needed
- Assist customers with professionalism and care via phone and email
- Coordinate with vendors to follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely fulfillment
- Assist with daily administrative tasks and office coordination
- Support accounting functions, including receiving payments, processing deposits, and filing invoices
- Provide administrative support to the Production Manager
- Maintain accurate and organized records
Qualifications:
- 3β5 years of administrative experience
- At least 1 year of basic accounting experience (payments, deposits, invoicing)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
