Maintenance Associate

Beachside Hospitality is looking for a talented and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in taking care of repairs day-to-day at each of our restaurant facilities as well as performing our preventive maintenance tasks that help maintain our restaurants. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various properties.
• Operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform light construction/carpentry and repairs to include painting, installing, adjusting and refurbishing facilities/equipment.
• Ensure that maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team by demonstrating genuine hospitality and team skills.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions, as this role requires outdoor work.
• Make local trips between restaurants and to hardware store as needed
• Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations.

Essentials:

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comply with all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property management operations.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and co-workers.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Drive to our various facilities and to pick up equipment or supplies as needed
• Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required
• Work outdoors for long periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as determined by business needs
