Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential Electrician Helper to assist experienced electricians on various residential construction and renovation projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical work, construction, and blueprint reading within a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will have some electrical or construction site experience and a strong willingness to learn and develop their skills in the electrical trade.
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Support the setup and teardown of construction sites, including framing carpentry as needed.
- Help with low voltage wiring, low voltage systems, and understanding of high voltage safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and electrical codes (NEC).
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems is desirable.
- Construction site experience preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from licensed electricians.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions on construction sites.
