Beachside Dental – New Practice - Opening August 2026
Location: Sarasota, FL
Position Type: This position will begin as part-time during our opening phase, with planned expansion to full-time as the practice grows.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture and systems of a brand-new practice while delivering outstanding patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols
- Provide excellent chairside support and patient education
- Manage room turnover efficiently and assist with clinical flow
- Support front office or administrative tasks as needed during opening phase
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification (state requirements apply)
- X-ray certification required
- Experience with Nomad handheld x-ray device preferred
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, calm demeanor with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to adapt in a start-up environment and work as part of a team
