Job Description:
As an experienced veterinary technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in their daily tasks. Your medical skills and expertise will be highly valued and utilized in our fast-paced practice.
Responsibilities Include:
Obtain thorough patient history and record keeping
Client communication and education
Animal restraint and assisting with physical exams
Provide patient care, including administering medications and performing laboratory tests
Venipuncture, ability to place IV catheters
Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment
Radiography – animal positioning
Dental cleanings and dental radiography
Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
Provide excellent customer service to clients
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
High school or equivalent (required)
Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 Year (required)
Veterinary Technician Certification (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and empathetic towards animals
Excellent organizational and time management skills
