What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Engineer position at Beachcomber Inn?
Daily Maintenance/Grounds for small private Timeshare Resort in South Lake Tahoe. Full Time with Benefits and vacation (after probation period). Weekends and "on call-after hours" duties required. Valid Driver's license required. Pool/Hot tub care experience Required, winter snow removal, light maintenance in guest units and common areas(buildings & grounds) including heating, electrical, plumbing, painting (interior and exterior) and drywall/finish work. CPO Pool certification a plus. Your knowledge in general Hotel maintenance and grounds aspects will be essential for managing maintenance schedules and projects. Additionally, your skills will enable you to maintain all hotel facilities to the highest standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. Prior experience required. Applicants must be able to respond to after hour calls within 15 minutes, meaning we are only looking for South Lake Tahoe residents only who have the ability to respond quickly to our resort needs.
Summary
In the role of Hotel Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all systems function efficiently and safely. Reporting to the General Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance, along with your other experiences in maintaining the Resort facilities. Your premium skills will be essential for managing maintenance tasks effectively. A valid driver's license and Certified Pool Operator certification or multiple years in pool maintenance and service are required for this position.
