We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures.
- Planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques.
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all service performed, including parts used, labor hours, and customer information.
- State updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Recommending equipment upgrades and replacements.
- Monthly and Quarterly gas tracked.
- IRP and tag renewal for all other equipment trailers and vehicles.
- Gage tracking on all equipment.
- Lytx tracking on all vehicles.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 3-5 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel repair, paired with 2 years of prior supervisory or managerial experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong diagnostic and mechanical understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Certifications: ASE Certifications (specifically Medium/Heavy Truck or Master Truck) and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) are highly preferred not required.
- Business Skills: Experience with fleet maintenance software, strong vendor negotiation skills, and ability to review financial/productivity metrics

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
