Job Title: Drilling Foreman – Horizontal Drilling Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Drilling Foreman to lead field operations for horizontal drilling projects. The Foreman will oversee daily drilling activities, manage equipment and crew, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate records. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, operates independently, and thrives in a hands-on, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Drilling Operations:
- Perform soil borings and rock coring using various drilling methods across diverse terrains.
- Supervise and assist with visual soil classification and preparation of field logs.

Equipment Management:
- Prepare and mobilize drilling equipment daily.
- Drive and operate drill rigs and semi-trucks to and from job sites and the office.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of drill rigs, support vehicles, and related equipment.

Site Coordination:
- Meet with utility contractors for site clearing and coordination prior to drilling.
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Team Leadership:
- Lead a drilling assistant, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Promote a culture of safety and teamwork on-site.

Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to National Drilling Association Safety Guidelines.
- Maintain proper paperwork and records in compliance with DOT and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating drilling rigs preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to self-start and work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred).
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
