The Company is a premium shade and umbrella rental service delivering comfort and convenience to guests at beaches, pools, and outdoor events. We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and people-first Customer Service & Operations Lead to be the heartbeat of our summer season.
Operations & Logistics
∙ Respond to online reservations and inbound customer inquiries promptly and professionally
∙ Coordinate with the delivery team to schedule and confirm delivery, setup, and pickup of equipment
∙ Manage the rental calendar and track available inventory in real time
∙ Confirm and process customer payments accurately and on time
∙ Troubleshoot day-of logistics issues quickly and calmly
Customer Service
∙ Provide warm, attentive, and professional service via phone, text, and email
∙ Handle customer questions, special requests, and feedback with care
∙ Build rapport and ensure every guest has a seamless rental experience
hen you commit, you deliver
∙ Prior customer service, operations, or hospitality experience preferred
Make outbound calls to area hotels, vacation rental agencies, and resorts to promote ThrowShade services
∙ Follow up on leads and help grow the local business network
The Details
∙ Contract or part-time position with flexible hours
∙ Seasonal role: May 1 – September 15
∙ Remote-friendly with some field coordination
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
