What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Salesperson position at Beach & Patio - Outdoor Living?
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a showroom environment
- Answer, direct and respond to telephone and email inquiries based on customer needs
- Proactively develop new business relationships with commercial and residential clients
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients
- Identify client needs and recommend tailored furniture solutions
- Generate memos, emails and sales reports as appropriate
- Follow up on leads, prepare quotations, close sales and maintain client relationships
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Suite
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven sales experience in patio furniture, furniture, interior design, or related industries
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
- Comfortable with in-person, phone, and email-based outreach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
- Comfortable working with commercial clients and decision-makers
