At Beach NY Physical Therapy, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled physical therapist to join our team.
Summary
We're a private practice with three locations, maintaining a close-knit family culture. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a fully equipped PT facility, with a proven track record of matching patient needs to treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards.
- Develop and implement individualized Plan of Treatment for each patient.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
- National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE) certification.
- Compliance with state regulatory requirements.
- Valid license to practice physical therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Compassionate and attentive to detail.
- Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
- Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
