Title: Nurse Practitioner (32hrs)
North Augusta Office Hours:
Wednesdays 9am-5pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-7pm
Fridays & possible rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm
Job Summary
- Assesses, diagnoses and treats obesity and related issues, independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- General Accountabilities
- Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
- Prescribes medications.
- Educates patients about balanced nutrition and exercise.
- Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.
- Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans.
- Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.
- Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree
- Experience: 1-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licenses/Certifications: FNP Certification, Prescriptive Authority, & DEA License
