Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Entry Level Security Technician to our Beach Lake, PA team. In this role, you will support our security and low-voltage technicians with the installation, wiring, and setup of security systems, assisting with hands-on field work and job site preparation. Success in this role requires a strong willingness to learn, basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with wiring, running cable, mounting devices, and completing simple installations.
- Help set up equipment, prepare the job site, and pull materials.
- Clean up job sites and maintain tools and equipment.
- Follow instructions and learn to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Participate in system testing, documentation, and basic diagnostics under guidance.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in security and low-voltage technical work.
- Ability to follow directions and a willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some technical, trade, or relevant coursework.
- Experience with basic tools and hand tools.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
- Work is performed at active job sites and construction environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and follow all site safety requirements.
The wage for this role is $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
