Licensed Account Manager Opportunity - must reside in SC or NC.
Our agency is seeking an experienced Licensed Account Manager to join our team. We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated professional committed to achieving and exceeding performance targets. This position requires prior experience in managing coastal accounts and provides an excellent opportunity for remote work.
Summary of Role...
Grow Agency Portfolio (Assigned Book of Business) profitability. Build relationships with clients. Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources. Provide service on existing accounts. Achieve agency and individual goals. Uphold the agency's reputation in a professional manner of conducting business.
Duties and Expectations...
• Complete policyholder reviews. (Confirm discounts, possible gaps, etc.)
• Perform service on existing personal lines accounts
• Develop prospects through referrals from present accounts, winbacks, requotes, agency x- dates, call ins, direct solicitation programs, and other target marketing from community affairs, affiliations and personal contacts (networking)
• Develop all information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account
• Make the sale and collect necessary deposits, arrange for binders, certificates, etc. Follow new business through completion
• Obtain required trailing documents (i.e. signatures, appraisals, photos, etc.)
• Obtain referrals from customer contacts for oneself or forward to the appropriate Commercial Specialist or Life and Financial Specialist
• Seek and process upsell opportunities and cross sell opportunities
• Solicit x-dates and update agency management database
• Utilize Agency and Carrier resources for pivoting and retention
• Monitor agency’s suspense logs for appropriate action
• Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and Carrier personnel to minimize potentials for error and omission claims
• Maintain necessary licenses and continuing education required for license renewal
• Perform special projects at management's request
• Support other office personnel with clients and phone coverage
• Achieve a balance in production to meet agency "mix of business" goals
Performance Metrics with bonus opportunities...
- Achieve net premium growth of $5,000 monthly (tracked in QQ).
- Generate at least 5 referrals per month (via AgencyZoom), including Life, Commercial, or internal referrals.
- Conduct care reviews and proactively remarket any account experiencing a premium increase of more than 20%.
- Complete a minimum of 40 thank-you calls each month to verify discounts, confirm coverage accuracy, and express appreciation to clients.
- Maintain a loss ratio below 55% by asking underwriting questions, utilizing aerial imagery tools, and verifying property conditions and pre-existing damage.
- Conduct care reviews and proactively remarket any account experiencing a premium increase of more than 20%.
Qualifications
- Property and Casualty License required.
- Prior experience working with accounts in an account manager role
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with agency management software and familiarity with insurance quoting systems
Compensation
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus opportunity to earn up to an additonal bonus of 3.5% of growth with no cap on bonus potential on top of advertised base. Open to discussions based on experience.
