Beach House Group is a fast-growing consumer product company with giving at its core. Founded and led by experienced serial entrepreneurs, Beach House Group has launched several successful brands across numerous categories and is now looking for a highly motivated, creative and organized Social Media and Content Manager to join their small but mighty team developing a new fragrance brand.
The Social Media and Content Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of social media strategy, including the promotion of ongoing daily content across channels and amplification of brand identity. The SMM will own all social media content, community engagement, and will be an integral driver across brand initiatives including influencer partnerships, brand/product launches, events, content shoots, and more. Candidates for this role must have strong analytical, copywriting and creative skills – a natural content creator with expertise in TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Must have a strong knowledge of the influencer landscape, highly visual with an eye for beauty, fashion and lifestyle trends, and able to communicate in a unique and modern brand voice. This role will report into the Senior Director of Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute innovative, social-led marketing strategies, programs and activities to drive brand awareness and growth
- Collaborate with Sales to drive awareness and increased marketing support with key retail partners (Ulta), providing and/or co-creating custom content to drive objectives
- Own and maintain social and marketing calendars, managing the release of content including the blog, social and influencer strategies, aligning with seasonal trends and supporting brand initiatives.
- Write, edit & craft fresh and engaging content for Product Pages, Website, Social Media & YouTube to achieve business objectives.
- Own all social media content, including the development of some videos (TikToks, Reels, Stories), photos and graphics
- Assist in the creation of brand assets, including photo shoots, in coordination with Senior Director of Marketing and BHG Creative Leads
- Working with the creative team, develop creative briefs, ensuring that brand objectives for all advertising and public-¬facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets are met
- Manage strategic marketing partnerships with brands & influencers and coordinate all gifting, agreements & communications
- Cultivate and manage a highly engaged, growing community across social platforms
- Collaborate on the development and execution of experiential marketing programs and activations; serve as brand ambassador at events
- Seek out customer acquisition and retention opportunities to grow engagement and acquisition.
- Proactively research, discover and strategically implement emerging social trends, community feedback, new opportunities and tools to generate awareness, engagement and growth.
- Deliver weekly and monthly marketing reports, providing analysis and implementing strategic pivots to plan as needed
- Support the Senior Marketing Director in overseeing the full scope marketing calendar and brand initiatives, ensuring all deadlines are met and cross-functional collaboration is occurring in a timely manner
- Track marketing expenses, reconciling monthly expenses against budget allocation, & submitting invoices
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years social and content marketing experience; beauty preferred
- In depth experience and expertise with key social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube
- Experience working with tools and platforms such as Dash Hudson, GRIN, CreatorIQ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to capture and edit photos and video as needed (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively with talent, including celebrity, influencers, and agency partners
- An entrepreneurial spirit with high comfort level in an evolving, fast-paced environment and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to build the brand.
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, think critically, manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong knowledge and passion for fragrance, the beauty industry and products
- Adept at staying ahead of trends and on top of emerging social media/marketing/e-commerce technologies to gain competitive insights.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, take the lead on projects and anticipate the needs of the team
- Effective problem-solver who is committed to producing products of exceptional quality.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
- Ability to effectively present and explain conceptual ideas
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity; ability to deliver detailed reporting, analysis and pivot as needed to reach key objectives

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
