Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that our guests receive an unforgettable experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing top-notch service in a bar and grill setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Toast POS .
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in managing bar supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service .
• Uphold responsible serving practices, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus, along with retail math capabilities.
