Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier with us, you will be responsible for installing glass in various residential settings, with a focus on custom shower enclosures, replacement window panes, and more.
Duties:
- Install shower door enclosures, glass windows, doors, and other glass products
- Perform glass repairs and replacements
- Work with various materials such as metal, wood, and plastic to complete projects
- Use tools and equipment effectively to ensure precise installation
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
Skills:
Must know how to read a tape measure.
Demonstrate the ability to install glass windows, doors, patio systems
Experience replacing damaged glass panels and mirrors
Requirements for the position:
Clean driving record
Proven experience as a Glazier in residential settings
Proficiency in cutting, shaping, and installing glass
Knowledge of different types of glass and their applications
Strong attention to detail and precision
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Physical agility: lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs
Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential
Punctuality and time management skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in glass installation
3-5 years of previous experience working with and installing custom shower enclosures, patio enclosures, replacement window panes
Knowledge of Door Hardware
