Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled, high-energy Youth Baseball Coach to run private and small-group defensive lessons for youth players. The right coach can quickly diagnose mechanics, teach game-speed skills, and help players build confidence through clear instruction and reps. Either playing experience (college preferred) and/or prior coaching experience is required.
What You’ll Do
- Coach youth baseball players in private lessons, small groups, camps, and clinics across key areas of the game, including hitting, throwing, fielding, baserunning, and overall baseball development
- Teach strong fundamentals while helping players improve athletic movement, coordination, body control, and game awareness
- Build age-appropriate lesson plans for players at different stages, from beginner to advanced
- Provide clear, constructive feedback that helps players improve while building confidence and enjoyment of the game
- Keep players engaged through energetic instruction, positive encouragement, and well-structured training sessions
- Create a safe, organized, and high-effort environment that supports learning, focus, and development
- Model and reinforce core values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, respect, and coachability
What We’re Looking For
- Baseball playing experience at the high school or college level preferred
- Previous coaching experience with youth players, private lessons, clinics, camps, or team instruction strongly preferred
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and simply with kids of different ages and skill levels
- A coach who can connect with young athletes, keep them engaged, and teach with patience and enthusiasm
- Reliable, professional, and consistent with scheduling, preparation, and lesson execution
- High standards for fundamentals, effort, attitude, and player development
- Someone who will represent the program well and help create a positive experience for both players and families
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
