Beach Cities Volunteer Day is Beach Cities Health District’s annual community service event that brings together South Bay businesses, organizations and residents to support our LiveWell Kids Program.
For 2026, Beach Cities Volunteer Day is Wednesday, August 12, from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. It’s an event where BCHD Staff, Volunteers, local organizations and corporate teams partner with us to prepare 13 elementary school gardens across Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach—setting the stage for a new year of hands‑on garden and nutrition lessons for local students.
These LiveWell Kids gardens are dynamic learning environments that ignite curiosity, nurture healthy habits, and connect children to the natural world. Your organization’s involvement will help ensure these gardens flourish and remain ready for meaningful, real‑world learning year after year.
