Music Therapist

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Music Therapist who loves working with children and helping them reach their full potential? BBPT is looking for dedicated therapists to join our dynamic, collaborative pediatric team!

We provide home and community-based physical, occupational, speech, feeding, and music therapy services throughout the Tampa Bay area, with flexible scheduling and caseload options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients’ functional needs and therapy goals
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans using a variety of play-based and therapeutic techniques
• Provide high-quality, family-centered care that supports children’s development in real-life environments
• Encourage and motivate children to actively participate in therapy and achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and clearly communicate updates to families and caregivers
• Accurately document services and maintain timely records
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and maintain professional development
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified Music Therapist in the state of Florida
• Pediatric experience preferred (but we are open to new grads with strong clinical training and passion for pediatrics!)
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in community-based settings
• CPR certification and Level II background check required

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
