Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer Lumber Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing and woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, processing, and preparing wood materials for various millwork and flooring projects. Your energetic approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to efficient production, precise machining, and safe material handling.
Responsibilities
- Operate saws, woodworking machines, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and lumber carts safely and efficiently to move lumber and wood materials throughout the facility
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to perform precise cuts and measurements on wood materials.
- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to all safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures during machine operation
- Conduct quality checks on wood materials using calipers and other measurement tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions and finish.
Experience
- No experience Required. Will train.
- Hands-on experience with machine operation including saws, transfer belts, woodworking equipment a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, tape measures, calipers, and other precision measurement instruments effectively

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
