Looking for a friendly, dependable, energetic and Experienced Front Desk Medical Receptionist for a busy Primary Care/Internal Medicine Practice. The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, attention to detail, and with a positive attitude. Our new team member should be able to work independently or with the team and be able to motivate others. This position may be asked to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling patients
- Patient Check In / Check Out including Insurance verification and pre-certs
- Scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prepping for the upcoming appointments
- Completing appropriate paperwork
- Answering phones, filing, mailing, faxing, scanning
Education & Experience needed:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience in a primary care doctor's office.
- Medical Terminology: 1 year (Required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- EMR, eClinicalWorks a MUST
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task while remaining focused upon providing exceptional patient care & service.
Pay based on experience.
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
