Med Surg RN / Registered Nurse Per Diem
The Med Surg RN Registered Nurse Per Diem provides direct patient care for assigned group of patients for a designated time frame.
The Med Surg RN Per Diem performs all technical aspects of procedures including:
- Care for adult patients both before and after surgery.
- Care for adults admitted to the hospital under a variety of diagnoses congestive heart failure, sickle cell anemia, newly diagnosed diabetes, stroke, gastrointestinal bleeding, confusion, and inability to ambulate, etc.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit.
