Overview
Be Well Memory & Infusion (BWMI) is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our patient-centered healthcare team. This role supports infusion therapy and memory care services in a boutique-style clinical environment designed for comfort, safety, and personalized care. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical support while working collaboratively with licensed healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Assist with patient intake, rooming, and collection of vital signs
- Prepare patients for infusion and memory care visits in accordance with clinical protocols
- Support licensed nursing staff during infusion services by preparing supplies, maintaining patient comfort, and observing patients during treatment
- Promptly report patient concerns, symptoms, or changes in condition to licensed clinical staff
Clinical Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately document patient information, vital signs, and visit details in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and clinic safety protocols
- Follow established clinical workflows, policies, and procedures
Patient Engagement & Communication
- Create a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment for patients and families
- Provide basic visit guidance and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments as directed
- Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
Operational & Clinic Support
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized infusion and clinical spaces
- Assist with inventory management, supply restocking, and equipment readiness
- Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow
Travel & Flexibility
- Be available for occasional travel to Omaha for coverage, training, or operational support
- Maintain reliable transportation for inter-site travel as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or active Medical Assistant credential required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (infusion, outpatient, or memory care experience a plus)
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a patient-first mindset
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $17.50 – $20.50 (based on experience and credentials)

- Paid Time Off (PTO):
