Direct Support Professional (DSP) – In-Home Care

Be There Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team. As a DSP, you’ll do more than provide care, you’ll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, develop life skills, stay active in their communities, and enjoy a meaningful quality of life.
We provide individualized, person-centered in-home support that respects each person’s choices, goals, dignity, and independence. Every day is different, and the work you do can have a lasting impact on the individual and their family.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized in-home support and personal care
- Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independence
- Assist with meal preparation and other daily routines
- Encourage participation in community activities and personal interests
- Provide transportation and support during community outings when applicable
- Follow individualized service and support plans
- Promote safety, dignity, choice, and independence
- Build positive and respectful relationships with the individuals you support
- Communicate effectively with families, care teams, and Be There Home Care leadership
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for team members who are patient, respectful, reliable, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy helping others.
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, caregiving, behavioral support, medical care, or personal care is a plus—but we’re willing to train the right candidate!

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
