Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support classroom activities and enhance the educational experience for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to facilitate learning, provide assistance to students, and create a nurturing environment conducive to academic growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers or young children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Along with changing diapers, help teach how to use utensils when eating & cleaning up bodily fluids such as boogers, slobber, ect.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum development for students with autism or other disabilities.
- Assist in organizing classroom materials and resources for effective learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and needs.
Skills
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with various disabilities.
- Effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and developmental milestones.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development tailored to individual student needs.
