Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead and oversee the execution of key projects across various teams and departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with the ability to ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and driving efficient processes to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the execution of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across departments.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to keep teams aligned, managing expectations and deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts or challenges within project teams, ensuring smooth operations and high performance.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential risks and obstacles in projects, developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Address challenges and bottlenecks that may affect project timelines or outcomes, ensuring minimal disruption to progress.
- Conduct root cause analysis on project delays or issues, providing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on project-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members, ensuring satisfaction and engagement.
- Present project status, outcomes, and key updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and priorities across the team to meet deadlines.
- Ensure cost-efficiency in project execution, while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Continuously evaluate project management processes and tools, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Drive innovation by identifying new methodologies or technologies that can improve project outcomes and team productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a digital marketing or communications firm.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) and proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
