Position Overview
Be Pro Be Proud (BPBP) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director, Corporate Sponsorships to lead and grow its Arkansas program and to support scaling its national corporate sponsorship revenue strategy. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, securing, and stewarding high-value corporate partnerships that advance BPBP’s mission to connect students with high-demand technical careers.
The Director will serve as a frontline fundraiser and strategic relationship manager, overseeing the full lifecycle of corporate partnerships—from prospecting and proposal development to activation, renewal, and expansion. This is a high-impact role for an experienced corporate fundraiser who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is motivated by measurable outcomes, relationship-building, and national workforce impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Revenue Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate sponsorship strategy aligned with Arkansas program and BPBP National growth goals
- Own and achieve annual corporate revenue targets, including sponsorships, partnerships, and event-based funding
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of corporate prospects across key industry sectors (construction, manufacturing, transportation, utilities, etc.)
- Identify and secure new regional and national partners, with a focus on multi-year and scalable investments
2. Partnership Development & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of corporate partners
- Deepen engagement with existing partners to drive renewals, upgrades, and long-term partnerships
- Lead strategic partner conversations, including post-event debriefs (e.g., Draft Day) and expansion planning
- Ensure a best-in-class partner experience through consistent communication, responsiveness, and value delivery
3. Sponsorship Sales & Proposal Development
- Lead the development of compelling sponsorship packages, proposals, and presentations tailored to corporate audiences
- Collaborate with the CDO and cross-functional teams to align partnership opportunities with organizational priorities
- Track and manage proposals, revenue forecasts, and conversion metrics
4. Sponsorship Fulfillment & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner closely with Marketing & Communications to ensure high-quality sponsor deliverables, visibility, and storytelling
- Oversee sponsorship fulfillment across events, campaigns, and digital platforms
- Collaborate with program teams to align partner engagement with programmatic outcomes (e.g., Draft Day, Mobile Workshop Tour)
5. CRM, Data Management & Reporting (HubSpot)
- Utilize HubSpot as the system of record for all corporate engagement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline tracking, contact records, and engagement history
- Implement and manage standardized partner touchpoints (e.g., 90/60/30-day renewal cadence, mid-year check-ins)
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline health, revenue performance, and partner engagement
6. Event & Activation Leadership
- Lead corporate engagement strategy for key activations, including Draft Day events and national/state initiatives
- Serve as a senior representative of BPBP at events, managing partner relationships on-site
- Identify opportunities to increase employer participation and sponsorship activation
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, corporate relations, sponsorship sales, or a related field
- Demonstrated success securing and growing corporate partnerships ($50K preferred)
- Experience managing a full sales/fundraising lifecycle (prospecting through renewal)
- Strong relationship management skills with corporate decision-makers
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and pipeline management
- Ability to travel as needed
- Clean driving record
- As we regularly engage with student audiences, a background check is mandatory
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, workforce development, education, or related sectors
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and/or active involvement in AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals)
- Familiarity with event-based sponsorship models
