Delivery Driver for Film Studio

Be Electric Studios is a soundstage and lighting/grip equipment rental company based in Brooklyn. We provide shooting space and equipment to film, TV, commercial, photo, and branded content productions, working with leading production companies, agencies, brands, and talent in NYC, LA, and beyond.

We are seeking a professional Delivery Driver to join our Equipment Operations team. This person will be responsible for safely transporting lighting, grip, film, and photography equipment to and from working sets, vendors, and Be Electric locations.

The ideal candidate has professional driving experience in New York City, can confidently operate a box truck up to 24’, and understands the importance of punctuality, safe handling, and strong customer service. This role requires someone organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and starts at $20–$22 per hour.

Responsibilities
Safely drive company vehicles, including box trucks up to 24’
Pick up and deliver lighting, grip, film, and photography equipment
Load, unload, and properly secure cargo for transport
Communicate clearly with the Equipment Operations Manager, vendors, clients, and internal teams
Follow delivery schedules and help keep logistics running on time
Assist with checking equipment in and out as needed
Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and vendors
Help ensure equipment is handled safely and returned in proper condition

Requirements
1 year of professional driving experience in New York City
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Comfortable driving box trucks up to 24’
Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
Familiarity with lighting, grip, film, or photography equipment is a plus
