Title: Part-Time Studio Manager Company: Be Creative, LLC Tagline: Help us keep a hands-on creative studio organized, welcoming, and ready for every class, customer, and colorful idea. Schedule: Part-time 20-25 hours/week Pay: $16-$18 / hour Reports to: Owners Location: 2210 Belle Chasse Hwy, Gretna, LA 70053, in person Description: Be Creative is looking for a dependable, operations-minded Studio Manager to run the business side of our creative studio. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on organization, takes ownership of day-to-day operations, and leads a small team to deliver a great guest experience. Some hands-on creative or art experience (crafting, painting, DIY projects, etc.) is strongly preferred — you'll be stepping into classes and workshops, not just managing the schedule. Your job is to make sure the studio, the schedule, the staff, and the supplies are always ready so every class and event runs smoothly. What you'll own: - Run daily studio operations, including opening and closing routines, shift readiness, and a clean, safe, welcoming space throughout each shift. - Lead and support the guest experience: greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues with warmth and professionalism. - Oversee workshop preparation and execution — make sure materials, rooms, and schedules are ready for classes and events, and step in where needed to keep things on time. - Coordinate and lead part-time staff: set assignments, keep the team on schedule, and serve as the point person on every shift. - Manage inventory and supplies: track stock, keep materials organized, and reorder before anything runs low. - Manage bookings and schedule changes (we use FareHarbor), and handle routine customer communications. - Support payments and point-of-sale as needed (we use Square). - Keep the owners updated with clear communication about priorities, staffing, issues, and daily results. You'll thrive here if you are: - An organized operator who can juggle several priorities without dropping the details. - A natural leader who is comfortable delegating, coaching, and holding a team to a standard. - Dependable, proactive, and willing to own the outcome of every shift. - Calm under pressure and quick to solve problems when plans change. - Warm, patient, and confident with customers of all ages and experience levels. - A clear communicator and collaborative teammate. What we're looking for: - Proven experience in operations, retail, hospitality, events, or team leadership — supervisory experience strongly preferred. - Strong time-management and problem-solving skills, with a track record of running a smooth shift. - Comfort learning and using booking, point-of-sale, and basic inventory systems (FareHarbor, Square). - Customer service excellence: professional, courteous, and consistent with every guest and team member. - Ability to stay active throughout a shift and direct routine studio setup and cleanup. - Some evening or weekend availability is preferred. - Hands-on experience with art, crafts, or DIY projects — strongly preferred. To apply: Apply with your resume and a short note sharing why you would be a great fit for Be Creative. Please include your general availability and earliest possible start date.
