Role Description This role supports BAUD's founder across two personal creator accounts (family travel theme park planning) and helps build BAUD's own agency social presence from scratch. Everything we build is intentional, systemized, and built to last β not chasing algorithms.
You are the operational engine behind two of BAUD founder Laura's creator accounts β one focused on Disney and Universal theme park planning, one evolving into a broader family travel brand β and the person who helps build BAUD's own agency social presence from scratch. You love systems, you love content, and you know how to make a creator's life easier so they can stay in their zone of genius. You'll also manage affiliate and brand partnership communications with professionalism and precision.
The Social Media Virtual Assistant supports daily social media operations, including drafting, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include monitoring channels for comments and messages, engaging with followers, and escalating inquiries as needed. The role also involves basic copywriting, updating content calendars, tracking post performance, and compiling simple reports. The Social Media Virtual Assistant will collaborate with internal team members to ensure all posts align with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and client expectations.
- Help stand up and manage Be A Unicorn Digital's agency Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn presence
- Manage DM automation flows and community messages on behalf of the accounts
- Handle inbound affiliate and brand partnership inquiries β triage, respond, and route appropriately
- Conduct outreach and pitching to affiliate programs and brand partnership opportunities
- Maintain a content affiliate tracker (Notion or equivalent)
- Repurpose long-form content into social captions and clip descriptions
- Monitor social performance and deliver a simple weekly summary
You Are:

Must-have skills:
- Social media scheduling tools (Later, Metricool, or equivalent)
- DM automation tools (ManyChat or similar)
- Canva basics β simple caption graphics or story templates
- Strong written English β professional outreach and conversational community comms
- Affiliate or influencer communication experience β outreach, pitching, or coordination
- Monday.com, Notion, Airtable, or similar for tracking partnerships and content calendars
Bonus:
- Familiarity with Disney, Universal, or theme park content niche
- Experience supporting a creator or personal brand account (not just a business account)
- Affiliate link management experience (LTK, Amazon Associates, or similar)
- Video captioning or light video editing skills
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for online and internal interactions.
- Experience with Social Media Content Creation and Social Media, including familiarity with key platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Knowledge of Social Media Marketing principles, such as audience engagement, basic analytics, and platform best practices.
- Solid Writing skills for captions, short-form posts, and basic marketing copy.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow structured content calendars and workflows.
- Comfort using social media management tools or willingness to learn (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar).
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Perplexity to help systemize the process
- Prior experience in a social media, marketing, or administrative support role is preferred, but candidates with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
