Job Description Role Summary The Senior Market Development Specialist (SMDS) is responsible for supporting market development activities, marketing execution, and expanding the UCC/Surgery portfolio. The role focuses on Go-To-Market implementation, new product launches, customer and KOL engagement, and support for tender and product registration activities. A critical pillar of this role is market development for Surgery, Endourology, and Targeted Temperature Management, requiring strong analytical capability, stakeholder corporation, and executional excellence in Vietnam’s complex healthcare environment. Job Responsibilities: I. Market Development & Field Execution Conduct market mapping, hospital segmentation, and customer profiling within the assigned territory Execute Go-To-Market plans for new product launches under BDM guidance Support market development through clinical education programs, workshops, and seminars Collect market insights and identify unmet clinical needs II. Marketing Execution & Product Support Support development and execution of marketing programs and promotional activities Prepare product technical documents, clinical materials, and tender specifications Deliver product training to internal teams, distributors, and customers Ensure consistent product messaging in collaboration with Marketing and Clinical teams III. Customer & Territory Management Manage assigned territory and develop relationships with hospitals, key customers, and KOLs Execute regular customer visit plans and build business opportunities pipeline Support key account strategies for priority hospitals IV. Tender, Registration & Market Access Support Support strategy for tender Coordinate product registration activities with relevant stakeholders Support reimbursement and insurance-related initiatives, if assigned Monitor healthcare regulations and policies related to medical devices V. Reporting & Data Analysis Track and report territory performance and key activities Perform basic data analysis on sales, tenders, and market trends Provide insights to BDM for strategic decision-making Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively for reporting and analysis Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Business or related fields MBA is a plus Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare industry, experience working in multinational or leading local healthcare companies is preferred Experience in marketing, market development, or product management, have experience related to RA/Market Access in Vietnam is advance Have experience in new product launches Understanding of medical device tender and registration processes in Vietnam, Knowledge of reimbursement and health insurance processes is an advantage Key Competencies Strong marketing execution capability High learning agility with ability to understand technical and clinical products Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills Analytical and data-driven mindset Proactive, hardworking, enthusiastic, and eager to learn Honest, responsible, and results-oriented Strong teamwork and ability to work independently Fluent English in speaking, listening, reading, and writing; translation ability is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis Why Join Us?
