What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Specialist position at BDX Performance?
We are looking for an organized specialist to track inventory, plan trips to deliver vehicles and prepare shipment of vehicles to be shipped to customers. We manufacture and ship ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, golf-carts and buggies to end user customers all over the USA. Your job is to work with production, define for production what to build, track inventory from receiving through production to shipping, to continually communicate with customers when they will receive their vehicle and complete all necessary paperwork.

Logistics Clerks Duties
- Record VIN numbers upon receipt of shipments of unassembled vehicles and enter into a database or spreadsheet.
- Create and track route sheets and BOLs (bill of ladings).
- Communicate directly with customers via phone/text to ensure logistics flow is smooth and efficient, including sending order and unit updates directly to the customer.
- Take pictures of vehicles and forward to the appropriate people.
- Staying in good communications with the sales, customer service and sales lead person.
- Prepare customer packages to be shipped with each vehicle.
- File customer paperwork when vehicles are delivered.
- Record quality, productivity data in spreadsheet or database.
- Produce graphs and summary reports
- Monitor drivers performance
- Communicate with drivers while on the road including nights and weekend.
- Coordinate with drivers schedules for trips
- Address periodic problems that drivers have while delivering vehicles including nights, weekend, holidays and coordinating with technicians if drivers have technical issues when delivering
- PM and maintenance of trucks and trailers
- Monitor Fuel usage by drivers
- Find trips and loads for returning trips back towards South Hill
- Learn, administer and adhere to the government regulations

Compensation:
- $20 to $25 per hour with commission
- This is a profit center and subject to a bonus based upon the profit of this center.
