Job Overview
We are is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician for a leading manufacturer of custom automated dispensing, plasma, and impregnation equipment in Broken Arrow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical assembly, interpreting schematics, and building high-quality industrial machinery in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels for custom automated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Install, route, label, and terminate electrical wiring and cabling.
- Mount and wire components including relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, PLC hardware, sensors, power supplies, and other electrical devices.
- Perform continuity, functional, and electrical safety testing to verify proper operation.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and correct discrepancies during assembly.
- Collaborate with mechanical assembly technicians and controls engineers to complete machine builds.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Ensure all assemblies meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, industrial wiring, control panel building, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and common electrical testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative production team.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational education is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling industrial automation equipment or custom machinery.
- Familiarity with PLC hardware, sensors, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of NEC standards and electrical safety practices.
- Experience with low-voltage industrial electrical systems.
