BDS Tire Recycling, Inc., based in Fairfield, Maine, is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Machine Operator on our day shift (Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.). Our cutting-edge, 16,000-square-foot automated tire processing facility leads the industry in scrap tire collection, transportation, storage, and recycling across New England. We proudly produce innovative products such as tire-derived fuel, crumb rubber, and tire wire.

What We Expect:
- Monitor operations and make drive adjustments to optimize shredder performance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct issues to keep production on track.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections and quickly identify and address product variances.
- Maintain detailed and accurate production records.
- Promote cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the workspace.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Treat fellow team members with respect.
What We Look For:
- Mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on problem-solving.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 70 pounds.
- Comfort standing and walking for extended periods.
- Flexibility to occasionally bend, kneel, twist, pull, and perform overhead tasks.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the tire recycling industry.
- Forklift experience is preferred, though not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
