Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asbestos Abatement Supervisor to oversee and assist with asbestos removal projects at various sites in SE Michigan. This vital role involves managing on-site operations, supervising teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality abatement services. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and a thorough understanding of asbestos abatement procedures. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within scope, all while maintaining strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and assist asbestos abatement crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
- Oversee the proper handling, removal, and disposal of asbestos materials following all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety compliance records, and project logs.
- Conduct regular safety meetings with team members to reinforce safety protocols and address potential hazards proactively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising asbestos abatement projects within the construction industry with a strong focus on safety compliance.
- Strong management skills with a history of supervising teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to asbestos handling and general construction safety standards.
- Familiarity with construction site safety equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams effectively.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
