What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Specialist position at BDP International?
- Assists with quoting and preparing new logo client proposals for the PSA BDP BDS team by engaging with origin and destination offices, as well as with procurement and tender management
- Liaise with local domestic transportation providers to maintain and improve on vendor relationships and ensure market competitiveness
- Ensure client rate cards are maintained up to date as needed
- Ensure Salesforce is up to date for the country/region
- Manage and maintains sales specific campaigns and projects
- Creates new customer portfolio by identifying new leads via cold calling, using lead generation tools, and research and analysis
- Organize customer visit for the sales team as needed
- Communicate with department heads in regard to customer’s quoting needs
- Conducts good relations with customers and PSA/BDP employees
- Assists with preparation of sales and marketing related reports upon request for PSA BDP BDS or regional leadership and country management
- Assisting with completion of RFI and RFQs as needed
- Work with BDS and Operations to develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed
- Maintain designated target lists for BDS team
- Other Duties as required
