What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Logistics Specialist position at BDP International?

BDP, will provide the following services to the DuPont Water Solutions Business, included but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Act as the single focal point to the business for all MPC shipments, including bookings, rates, cross dock operations, coordination with MPC and dray carriers, timely SAP updates, etc.
- Support all functions of export and import process from order creation to cargo delivery.
- Work with the DWS Logistics team on bid preparation to continuously improve the competitiveness and service level of our transportation offering
- Work with DWS Business Teams and S&L resources, to ensure compliance with inter-/intra-country transportation, packaging regulations and customs requirements.
- Monitor trends in daily booking, re-booking, and pre-booking activities.
- Identify time or cost constrained shipments are managed to customers’ satisfaction.
- Provide root cause and corrective action investigations to operational processes to minimize supply chain disruptions and identify opportunity es for cost-saving / value creation.
- Liaise with the customer, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure both the export and import process is lean and bottlenecks or performance issues are addressed.
- Provide analytics-based approach to bookings management, routing guide conformance, operational metrics reporting, and process improvement.
- Coordinate/Manage the overall daily process for all MPC shipments:
- Provide overall management of vendors in the value chain and prepare comprehensive output based on the received data output from each party.
- Coordinate an inbound receiving / outbound shipping schedule to key contacts, which will incorporate Supply Chain guidance for receiving priorities.
- Routinely follow-up with all carriers, agents, or contacts to ensure shipment delays are minimized.
- Assign and work directly with the contracted inland carrier.
- Schedule inland carrier appointment time with the DWS shipping locations.
- Publish the daily shipment visibility dashboard indicating shipments to KPI, highlighting delays, potential issues and recommended actions to key DuPont W&P Supply Chain Stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Degree in Logistics/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience Strong communication, networking skills, and able to manage multiple tasks Strong leadership and team-building skills; must have the ability to influence at all levels of the organization Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and DuPont Systems (e.g. SAP, GCAP, DDAC Applications, RMDS, Transoval, CASS (Freight Payment).
