About the Role
BDIPlus is seeking two detail-oriented QA Specialists to join a fast-paced client engagement starting immediately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing applications, identifying issues, validating functionality, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software releases.
This is an onsite position in New York City, and candidates must be available to begin immediately.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing of web-based applications
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Validate bug fixes and retest issues
- Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before release
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain accurate testing documentation and status updates
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of software quality assurance or testing experience
- Experience performing manual testing for web applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience writing clear bug reports and test cases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in New York City
- Available for an immediate start
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
- Experience with browser developer tools
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium is a plus
- Experience working with cloud-based applications
